The client commissioned us to create spaces highlighting the original elements of the apartment and building. Dividing walls were knocked down to give a feeling of greater amplitude and allow light to pass from one side of the flat to the other. The wooden beams were restored and plaster was removed from the walls to leave clean brickwork visible.
The most modern elements of the flat include the resin bathroom sink, the ultra-flat suspended toilet and the custom-made shower screen that is the same height as the ceiling.
The kitchen countertop and the floor of one of the bedrooms was finished in polished cement to add a personal touch.
The doors of the second bedroom are made to measure and can be completely opened and closed depending on the needs of the client, thus creating a versatile space.
